
General Info For All Positions
Housing and meals are provided. If Healthcare Team member has no children attending camp, a salary will be paid. If Healthcare Team member has children attending camp:

WinShape Camps pays the 1st child’s full tuition & half-tuition on subsequent children (cannot be combined with the first-time camper discount).

Team member pays half-tuition for 2nd and 3rd child attending camp.

If team member works a 1-week camp, tuition discount applies to a 1-week camp; if team member works a 2-week camp, discount applies to a 2-week camp.

Due to tax & Worker’s Comp regulations, WinShape issues a paycheck for the discounted amount of the camper’s tuition.

Team member will reimburse WSC (minus taxes) at the end of camp session via electronic payment.

Nurse's Aide
Assists licensed Healthcare Team members in providing medical care for campers & staff. Administers scheduled & prn medications, triages sick/injured campers & staff, and documents care in the electronic health record under the supervision of a licensed team member. Transports campers/staff off-campus for medical treatment as needed. Records petty cash expenses as needed. Initiates Worker’s Comp process for staff, if needed. Takes night call on rotating basis with other Healthcare Team members. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Junior or Senior in Nursing School or Pre-Med, preferred OR
• Previous experience as Nurse’s Aide
• BCLS certified
• Valid driver’s license; must be 21 or older to drive WinShape vehicles
• Able to commit to a full week/session of camp

Anchor Aide
Nurse’s Aide duties as listed above as well as:
Welcomes & assists in orienting new Healthcare Team members at the start of new sessions. Assists in providing continuity of care throughout the summer. Assists in preparing reports & materials for Spectacular Starting Sundays. Assists in reviewing, reconciling, & submitting petty cash to Operations at end of session as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Nurse’s Aide requirements as listed above, except:
• Able to commit to a minimum of 4 weeks of the summer camp schedule

Nurse
Provides medical care for campers & staff. Administers scheduled & prn medications, triages sick/injured campers & staff, and documents care in the electronic health record. May transport campers/staff off-campus for medical treatment as needed. Updates parents if campers’ medical condition changes. Initiates Worker’s Comp process for staff, if needed. Supervises care provided by non-licensed Healthcare Team members. Takes night call on rotating basis with other Healthcare Team members. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• RN, LPN, NP, PA, RRT, or Paramedic
• Valid license in state where care is provided
• BCLS or ACLS certified
• Valid driver’s license; must be 21 or older to drive WinShape vehicles
• Able to commit to a full week/session of camp

Anchor Nurse
Nurse’s duties as listed above as well as:

Healthcare Team (HCT) Supervisor, North GA
Provides continuity of care throughout the summer. Supervises & supports Healthcare Teams each week. Leads orientation each week to ensure team members are aware of camp policies & procedures. Prepares reports & materials for Spectacular Starting Sundays (SSS). Updates camper medications in electronic health record after SSS. Completes Worker’s Comp claims electronically & submits ER/Urgent Care paperwork to Talent Services. Assists Summer Staff with scheduling follow-up appts as needed. Determines medical supply needs & orders as needed. Reviews & reconciles petty cash logs & credit card statements. Reviews camper & staff health concerns prior to session start & discusses with incoming session’s HCT members during orientation. Facilitates good communication between Healthcare & Camper Care teams. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• RN, NP, or Paramedic with valid license in state where care is provided
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in healthcare preferred
• BCLS or ACLS certified
• Valid driver’s license; must be 21 or older to drive WinShape vehicles
• Willing to travel from camp to camp; rental vehicle provided
• Able to commit to full summer camp schedule, typically 10 weeks with time-off mid season

Healthcare Team (HCT) Supervisor, Mt. Berry
Provides continuity of care throughout the summer. Supervises & supports Healthcare Teams each session. Leads orientation each session to ensure team members are aware of camp policies & procedures. Communicates medical supply needs to HCT Supervisor. Assists in reviewing & reconciling petty cash & credit card receipts. Assists HCT Supervisor in reviews of camper & staff health concerns. Facilitates good communication between Healthcare & Camper Care teams. Other duties as assigned.

Answers Nurse Triage phone line for Day Camps staff. Triages sick/injured Day Camps staff; advises when & how to administer first aid versus when to seek medical attention. Assists staff in locating appropriate medical facility when needed. Documents care in the electronic health record. Completes Worker’s Comp claims electronically & submits ER/Urgent Care paperwork to Talent Services. Assists Summer Staff with scheduling follow-up appts as needed. Reconciles credit card receipts/ statements. Facilitates good communication between Triage Nurse team members & Talent Services. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• RN or NP; valid license in state where care is provided
• Remote position: must be available to answer the phone, except during time off
• Ability to attend Staff Training week in person recommended (Mt. Berry campus)
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in healthcare preferred; BCLS or ACLS certified
• Able to commit to full summer camp schedule, typically 11 weeks with time off during season
