What do I wear to Staff Training?
Whether you’re flying or driving to camp, make sure to wear your Arrival Tee on May 22nd! If you were just hired and have not received a shirt, no worries — we will give you one when you arrive. For anyone who needs to exchange their size, please bring your shirt to Check-In and you can exchange it there. Be on the lookout for your camp’s shirt color below as you travel!

What time do I need to arrive if I'm coming May 22nd?
Please plan to arrive between 1:00–3:00 PM (EST). WSC for Boys, WSC for Girls, and WSC International staff will follow signs to “Overnight Camps” and will meet at WinShape Retreat for Check-In. WSC for Communities staff will follow signs to “Day Camps” and will meet in the Morgan Hall dorm lobby. The first thing you’ll do upon arrival is head to Check-In, so be sure to have your Form I-9 documents (see below) easily accessible. It’s usually best not to pack these items with the rest of your luggage. We will have a team of staff all over campus on Arrival Day, so rest assured that you’ll be well taken care of!
What paperwork do I need to bring if I am a new staffer?
All new summer staff — and any returning staff who did not work in 2018 — will need to complete a Form I-9 upon arriving at Staff Training. Please read over the Form I-9 link we sent via email and pay close attention to Page 3 — there you will see the List of Acceptable Documents that you will need to complete this form. Please review this before your first day of work but do not complete it. We will assist you in completing the document upon your arrival. You must bring either one document (from List A), or two documents (one from List B & one from List C) with you to Staff Training. You must bring the physical document(s)—no copies can be accepted—and all documents must be unexpired. For example, you may choose to bring a document from List A, such as an unexpired Passport, or you may choose to bring a List B document, such as a Driver’s License and a List C document, such as a Social Security Card or a Birth Certificate. If you choose to bring a School ID, please note that the ID must have been issued within this school year, otherwise it cannot be accepted. You will complete your Form I-9 as soon as you get to Check-In, so it will be helpful if you have your documents handy upon arrival. We will have the forms printed for you, so there will be no need for you to print them out.
What can I expect if I am flying to camp?
You should have received your flight itinerary. If you haven't, drop everything right now and email Caleb Hand at firstname.lastname@example.org (then continue reading). Make sure you review your itinerary and confirm your flight date and time. Once your flight lands at the Atlanta airport, head to Ground Transportation. We will have WinShape Camps staff there to greet you on May 22nd. Make sure to wear your Arrival Tee on May 22nd so we can spot you easily! We will have staff positioned at the top of the escalators and they will give you further directions. We will shuttle you and your luggage to Rome. If you’re arriving on May 19th-21st, we will send you more direct information soon on your transportation to Rome.
If you receive a phone call from a number you don’t recognize, please make sure to answer it because it’s likely someone on our team looking for you. Also, the first meal we will be providing for you on May 23rd is dinner, so make sure to grab lunch or a snack at the airport before you get on the shuttle.
We will reimburse up to two pieces of checked luggage each way, or $120 roundtrip. To receive reimbursement for checked luggage, you must turn in your baggage receipt at Check In. No receipts will be accepted after Staff Training.
